Law360

For three years I worked as a Washington, DC correspondent for the legal news newswire Law360. I covered antitrust trials, criminal proceedings and regulatory spats across half a dozen courthouses and more federal agencies. For the following two years I worked as Law360’s primary congressional correspondent, covering two Supreme Court nomination battles, immigration disputes and criminal justice reform.

PLCA and The Pitt News

Following college I worked as an intern for the Pennsylvania Legislative Correspondents’ Association covering the Pennsylvania legislature. That included a special election, budget talks, a multimillion dollar tax abatement deal and more.

While a student at the University of Pittsburgh I worked at The Pitt News as a reporter, editor and eventually editor in chief. While there I covered police actions and arrests at the G-20 protests as well as campus crime, a proposed student tax and more. While editor in chief I helped shepherd the newspaper through a series of more than 100 bomb threats that rocked the campus.
